Amy Elliott

I am a solicitor based in our Coalville office working in the care and family department. I completed my LPC and masters of law at Nottingham Trent University in 2017.

I represent parents in applications made by the Local Authority (“care proceedings”) and also during pre-proceedings. I understand that these proceedings are often very stressful and therefore am compassionate and take time to listen to my clients.

I also represent parents and other family members in applications relating to children in private law proceedings. I adopt a non-adversarial approach to ensure that the best outcome is reached for the children involved. I often also represent clients who have been the victim of domestic violence and need support in protecting themselves against further harm.
